CLAIMS FIRST POLE OF THE SEASON

Wayne Boyd and Tim Blanchard gave reigning champion team Jamun
Racing a superb start to the 2008 British Formula Ford
Championship today (Sat) at Oulton Park, annexing the front row of
the grid for Monday's opening round of the Ford-backed series.
Ulsterman Boyd pipped Aussie Blanchard to the pole by a tenth of a
second.
The Van Diemen of
Dane Marco Sorensen was third fastest, with the new Comtec, driven
by Westley Barber, seventh.
