WINS AGAIN BUT IS BEATEN TO PORSCHE TITLE

2010: Another superb race victory in the Porsche Mobil 1
Supercup - his third of the season - at Monza yesterday secured
second place in the championship for Formula Ford team boss Nick
Tandy.
Tandy needed to win
the Italian Grand Prix-supporting final round of the series to
stand any hope of championship victory, but had also to hope that
his title rival Rene Rast ran into trouble.
Although Tandy did
all he could, beating Sean Edwards to victory by three-tenths,
Rast stayed out of trouble to take fourth place and the crown by a
six-point margin.
Nick swaps roles
again next weekend at Donington Park, from driver to team manager,
as the JTR squad bids for further success in the Dunlop MSA
Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain. |
