FORMULA FORD'S DONINGTON DATE RESCHEDULED

22 April, 2009: Donington Park's postponed rounds of the MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain will now take place over the weekend of 18/19 July.

The Derby circuit had been due to host rounds four, five and six of the Ford-backed series this weekend, but the meeting was postponed last week by event organisers as a result of problems associated with the track's redevelopment.

"We are delighted to be able to keep Donington on this year's calendar," said Sam Roach of championship promoter RacingLine. "Donington is a traditional event for Formula Ford and a favourite for the drivers."

Revised dates for remaining rounds
30/31 May, Rockingham
13/14 June, Knockhill
4/5 Jul, Snetterton
18/19 Jul, Donington Park
15/16 Aug, Silverstone
4/5/6 Sep, Brands Hatch Indy (DTM)
19/20 Sep, Brands Hatch GP
