 MARTYN
DOBSON
18 July 2009: It
is with sadness that we record the death of Martyn Dobson, who
lost his brave battle with cancer on 16 July.
Martyn ran his
family team under the sponsoradiamond and 4D Motorsport banners;
the team had success in karting at both Super One, with Matt and
Katie Dobson, and Formula Ford, winning the 2005 Avon Tyres
Clubmans Class B Championship and the 2007 British Formula Ford
Scholarship Championship, with son Matt Dobson driving.
The team last year
ran a Van Diemen in the British Formula Ford Championship for Matt
Dobson and a pair of TIGA Sports 2000 cars for Mark and Gary
Marsh.
The Formula Ford
community offers its condolences to Martyn's wife, Linda, and to
his children Matt, Rachel and Katie. Martyn
