The Formula Ford community in Britain is deeply saddened to learn
of the sudden death of Joe Tandy. Joe, the man behind the success
of the JTR Formula Ford and F3 teams, was killed in a road
accident along with his close friend Luke Temple.
Sam Roach, on
behalf of the MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain,
said: "Joe was a talented, winning racer himself before he
started JTR, and his enthusiasm and passion for the sport shone
through everything he did. Everyone involved in Formula Ford in
the UK feels his loss, none more so than me and my colleagues at
RacingLine and Ford. Joe's family and friends have our deepest
sympathies." |
