8 December, 2008: A British Formula Ford race-winner from 2008, Adrian Campfield, impressed Formula 3 team West-Tec when he tested for them at Snetterton. At the wheel of one of West-Tec's Spanish championship-specification Dallara F306s, 19-year-old Campfield completed more than 100 laps of the Norfolk track.

"Adrian did a stunning job and approached the day very intelligently," said West-Tec's John Miller. "We have kept an eye on him in Formula Ford all season and had a fair idea of what to expect from him… he didn't disappoint."

Added Campfield: "Team West-Tec were a pleasure to work with and the car was beautiful to drive. Racing with the team in F3 in 2009 is my aim. Now we just have to make it happen."
