NEW FORMULA FORD TEAM TAKES A BOW

8 December, 2008: Formula Ford will welcome a new team to the British championship in 2009 in the form of DW Racing, founded by Dan Woodrow. The squad has bought the Ray driven to Scholarship Cup victory this season by Chrissy Palmer and is planning to field it, and another chassis, in 2009.

Multiple kart racing champion Lee Harpham tested the DW Racing Ray at Silverstone last week and impressed the team. "Lee got to grips with the car very quickly," said Woodrow, "worked very well with our chief engineer Les Wilson, and set some good times." Team manager and driver coach Les Latham added: "I believe Lee can lead our team to Scholarship honours in 2009." The squad is backed by prestige car hire firm Qasims No Limits.
